Latest update on the Frederique-Constant Byte Sailing Team
Back to action with a first pre-world regattas this weekend in Cannes. Sebastien has started well with a first and third position on Friday. Racing to continue Saturday and Sunday.
February will be a very busy month on the sailing front for the preparation of the early April world championship and qualification for the Youth Olympic games. Following this weekend race a total of 10 days training are planned in February. The Swiss Team will join the New Zealand and Singapore sailing team for some group training during February.
March will be the same with intensive training before the World championship that will start on the 6th of April.
Meanwhile, the team continue to prepare their physical conditions with 4 sessions/week of physical training.

As you can see the team is busy but the moral and enthousiasm is high. More to follow after this weekend racing.
Sébastien did finish 3rd this weekend (Cannes) at the pre-world practice racing with 9 races sailed in three days. So far so good!

What a breath of fresh air to take the edge off after a intense day. Great article that really gets the thought across. Thank you for sharing.
Hi
Can someone help me, its been over 4 months now and the local Frederique C. Office in Mexico, has not received spare parts to fix my watch. F. C watches are great but not having Head Office support leaves customers with a bitter flavour.
What can I do?
Humberto
Im really disappointed as my FC watch is now in for its 2nd repair since i bought it in late 2009. it seems that once the stop watch was fixed in march 2010 within weeks there was a problem again. I dont mind having a problem fixed but when you pay good money for a luxury item and it doesnt seem to work properly or when its gets fixed it still then breaks again its not that good! This is an automatic limited edition healy watch and i would expect better quality and also better service from your australian agents who seem non plussed that Ive spent a pile of money on what is proving to be a pile of rubbish! Im wondering what will happen when my 12 month warrenty runs out, this watch has gone wrong twice already !!!! somebody of importance tell me some good news about your company! Not impressed and in need of some corporate office attention to save your reputation!
Dear Lynton,
We are sorry for the problem you have encountered with your Healey chronograph, I apologize for the double repair, this is certainly not our normal experience with this model. Please note that you have a 24 months guarantee, not 12 months as you mentioned. All our watches have a two year worldwide guarantee. If you encounter again an issue after current repair, I suggest to return your watch to Geneva for check and movement exchange at our factory. Best to contact me directly at pcstas@frederique-constant.com to ensure that I get your message. Obviously, we will reimburse transportation cost Australia-Geneva.
My apologies again and best regards,
Peter Stas
